•  Master’s degree in psychiatry and neurology (MSc), Cairo University, 1996.
•  Doctorate in psychiatry (MD), Florida University USA, 2003.
•  Diploma in Aviation medicine (DAvMed), King’s college, London, 2005.
• Diploma in aviation and aerospace medicine, subspecialty psychiatry (DAvMed, Psych), 
•  Otago University, 2007.
